The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took part in Gaidar Forum, held in Moscow these days.
The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency participated in the program of the forum as a part of Tatarstan delegation.
During the first day, the plenary session "Values and virtues" with the participation of the Prime-Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev took place.
The main session was attended by the Chairman of JPMorgan Chase International, Chairman of Bank of Israel (1991-2000) Jacob Frenkel; Chief Executive Officer of The World Bank Kristalina Georgieva; President of the European Policy Centre, President of the European Council (2009–2014) Herman Van Rompuy; political scientist, Chairman of Centre for Liberal Strategies in Sofia and Permanent Fellow of Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna Ivan Krastev; Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of the Republic of Finland Kai Mykkänen.
The discussion was moderated by Rector of RANEPA Vladimir Mau. In the program of the first day of the forum serious attention was paid to health issues: "Investment in Public Health" Business Breakfast and "Global Healthcare Trends" Expert Discussion were held.
The possibilities of social policy development were discussed at "Will the Social Policy Remain a National Priority" expert discussion. One of the key topics of the IX Gaidar Forum was the efficiency of public administration and budgetary expenditures. The experts proposed the ways on the budgetary expenditures reduction and gave recommendations on public administration system improvement.
Also, in the framework of the Forum the general meeting of the members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia was held, where the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was reelected the Board's Chairman of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia by unanimous decision.
