Kamaz started sales to South Africa

At International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles Bauma CONEXPO AFRICA in Johannesburg start of Tatarstan's production machines sales was announced. Potential consumers are offered right hand drive dump trucks with 400 horsepower engines and 15-ton dump truck KAMAZ-65115-78 with 285 horsepower engine. All trucks are equipped with dump body of NEFAZ production, which is KAMAZ PJSC subsidiary, and exhibited in KAMAZ exposition.

Visitors are also greeted with legendary sports truck of "KAMAZ-master" team.

Dump trucks are popular in South Africa as the country has large mining industry. For that reason KAMAZ sells right hand drive trucks on African markets.

In 2016 4 trucks KAMAZ-6520, -65201, -65222, and restyled -65115 were delivered to South Africa for test works. In January 2018 KAMAZ supplied 54 dump trucks. During this year not less than 100 full-fledged KAMAZ trucks will be delivered to South Africa.

 In 2019 the company plans to export not less than 300 trucks per year, and this quantity may be increased.

KAMAZ takes part in Bauma CONEXPO AFRICA exhibition together with its official distributor in Africa which is BELL EQUIPMENT company.

The exhibition has already been visited by 500 exhibitors and 20 thousand visitors including delegations from Botswana, Chile, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria and Zambia.

The company plans further expansion on African markets: KAMAZ machines will be exposed at the BELL company official dealers in 12 African countries including Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius, Madagascar and others.
