Chelny Shares Its Experience on Small and Middle-Size Entrepreneurship Support

An offsite republican seminar-meeting on «New forms of small and middle-size entrepreneurship development management in municipal entities of the Republic of Tatarstan» was held in Naberezhnye Chelny on 24 December.

Deputy heads of Executive Committees on economy and entrepreneurship and businessmen from more than 35 municipal entities of the Republic of Tatarstan were invited to the seminar-meeting.  Head of Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny Farhad Latypov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, president of Association of small and middle-size business enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan Haydar Haliullin participated in the meeting. The event was conducted by director of Bureau Marketing-service Consulting Company, councilor of Association of small and middle-size business enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafik Shayhudinov.

Head of Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny Farhad Latypov greeting the participants has noticed that the city works with its entrepreneurs actively.  He also emphasized that good results have been reached for a short time period.

Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov claimed that some regions of the Repulic of Tatarstan organize work and interaction with local businessmen badly. According to Linar Yakupov, «It is necessary for all municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan to apply the experience of Chelny, and moreover, it is significant to inform businessmen better about the competitions and grants offered by the Agency. Nowadays, the Government authorities support business, therefore, our aim is to help to small and middle-size entrepreneurship».

Chelny was chosen as the place for helding the seminar-meeting on purpose. At the end of May, 2011, two departments of the Executive Committee of the city were united, and there one department has been created, which is Management of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship Support, and inside of it there was created a branch department on business support and development.

During 7 months, the department has shown quite good results of work. Deputy Chief of the Department of economic development and business support Radmir Belyaev made a presentation about the done work.
