During the event, the plenary sessions and presentations by the experts dedicated to the digital transformation of markets and business, new approaches to industry, smart city environment and technological entrepreneurship were held.

"Today, the technology of industrial Internet of things made possible the transformation of numerical models into a vivid constantly acting type or a digital double. What does it mean? This means that the station which generates the electricity, will not stop for unscheduled maintenance, the plane will be on time and depart safe, the cars will become better with new "firmware", as well as our mobile phones, - Business Development Director of "Digital Transformation Factory" Andrey Krylov explains. - these technologies help to make the product more reliable and more qualitative".

According to the Head of "Industry 4.0" of Sibur Holding Valeriy Cherepanov, the aim of "industry 4.0" is to teach the systems to work autonomously and to make their own decisions based on the analysis of big data. "For the successful launch of digital projects it is necessary to form a cross-functional team, where each member is interested in the final result, to provide support of changes at the highest level, to listen to business and focus on their needs when implementing digital solutions. Only the full involvement of all stakeholders ensures the product fully meeting the customer's expectations and useful to him", - the representative of Sibur Holding marked.

Digital transformation affects not only industrial companies, but entire cities, the experts noticed. And if at the initial stage the term "smart city" denoted the technologies to improve the informatization of cities, now it turned to development concept with the use of different technologies of the Internet of things to improve the quality of life of residents.

The Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of CitiesofPeople (Belgium) Karl-Filip Coenegrachts shared his international experience in implementation of international experience in urban environment. According to him, smart city is first of all the city for people. So, Ghent city, where he worked for a long time as a senior strategy specialist, is a great example: it is open and friendly to the people of all ages. The local municipal authorities strive to implement diversified economy built on the principles of ecological safety and general welfare.

"Smart" energy was allocated as a separate steam. In particlar, the Director General of "Transneftenergo" LLC Sergey Yemelyanov told how IoT-solutions embedded in the companies help to reduce energy costs.

However, one of the first outcomes of the summit was the decision of JSC "Research Institute of modern telecommunication technologies" and Special Economic Zone "Innopolis" to deploy the first in Russia open network NB-IoT in Innopolis.

According to the repressentative of JSC "Research Institute of modern telecommunication technologies" Ilya Tikhonov, the main purpose of deployment of the network is to encourage the developers of solutions for the Internet of things to use the new standard NB-IoT and conduct their tests in real conditions. "The base station will be located in the street and will operate at rated power so that devices manufacturers could test their products for signal patency from the start point to the base station, as it would be in real conditions. In the near future the technical description with indication of frequency, power and other characteristics will be prepared to eliminate inconsistencies", - he explained. He also noted the efficiency of the management of Innopolis - "We have agreed on all the necessary issues in one day".

LeadingDigitalTransformation training program, which was held on the site of Kazan technopark in the sphere of high-technologies "IT-park" by the Head of Faculty of Management of CassBuisnessSchool (Great Britain) Gianvito Lanzolla, completed the summit.
