The agreement on the establishment of a representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Saxony was signed

The Government of the Republic of Tatarstan in person of the President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Government of the Federal State of Saxony in person of Prime Minister of Saxony Michael Kretschmer signed an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, as well as an agreement on the establishment of a representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Leipzig.

"Ladies and gentlemen, our relations have a great history. I am sincerely grateful, Mr Prime Minister, to you and your colleagues for the warm welcome of our delegation, which is now on this beautiful land today. And, of course, it is a great honor for us to sign 2 documents-agreements: on cooperation and on the establishment of our representation in Saxony, which will be operating in Leipzig all over the Germany. Of course, close contacts between regions such as Saxony and the Republic of Tatarstan will bring our relations closer at the federal level," - the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out.

Let us remind, that in the frames of the working visit to Germany, Tatarstan’s delegation will visit today a number of large companies of Saxony to strengthen business ties. The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina is presenting the investment potential of the republic. The second day on German soil is aimed at establishing strong business relations with the political elite and the business community of Bavaria.
