Economic forum "Bavaria-Tatarstan": a new projection of the existing relations

In the Ministry of Economy of Bavaria, the Head of tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took part in the economic forum "Bavaria-Tatarstan", which was held in the format of a round table with the Minister of Economy, Regional Development and Energy of Bavaria Hubert Aivanger, representatives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Munich and Upper Bavaria, as well as business community of the German region.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov represented trade and industrial potential of the republic.

"I want to draw attention to development of relations in the field of investment, innovation, in the sphere of automotive industry, health, petrochemistry, biotechnology. We are very grateful to have the opportunity to present trade and industrial potential of Tatarstan to the business circles of the developed German region -Bavaria," - Albert Karimov said in his welcoming speech.

Representatives of 20 largest German organizations of banking, export development, life and finance insurance, medicine, tourism, construction and others made presentations at the Forum.

Taliya Minullina expressed gratitude for the effective cooperation and noted a number of investment opportunities offered by Tatarstan.

"I would like to thank our partners for the long-term cooperation projects that have been successfully implemented for many years, and for the fact that they are proud of this cooperation as well, and have made such informative reports today. Of course, welcome to Tatarstan, we are waiting for new projects and are ready to assist in their implementation", - Taliya Minullina added.

In her address, she stated, that for new partners, the investment portal invest.tatarstan.ru is operating in 11 languages, including German to examine in details the investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, measures of state support, determination of the sphere and platform for doing business in the territory of Tatarstan.

The forum also presented the best practices of cooperation between the largest German concern Siemens and the Republic of Tatarstan, which was revealed in joint projects with such companies as "TAIF-NK", "KAMAZ", "Kazanorgsintez", "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" and others. Thus, cooperation is conducted in the field of energy, oil and gas processing and petrochemical industries, in the automotive industry.
