The rapid development of business relations of Tatarstan and Turkey
The Government of the Republic of Tatarstan continues to develop strong partnership relations with Turkey. Today, the business program of the visit of the top officials of the republic headed by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov evolved in Bursa. The negotiations opened in the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry involving the Governor of Bursa Province, Yakup Canbolat, after which, within the framework of the Tatarstan-Turkey Business Forum, a vector was set for the development of comprehensive cooperation.
“Turkey is an important strategic partner of Tatarstan and, traditionally, is among the top three investor leaders. Our ties are very strong, both in the political, economic, and humanitarian areas. Today, Tatarstan and Turkey cooperate almost in all sectors. Among the successfully implemented Turkish projects in Tatarstan is Coşkunöz Company that re-invested in Tatarstan in 2018, which is the main indicator of a favorable investment climate of our republic,” said Taliya Minullina, the Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
As an important outcome of the forum, the cooperation agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry was signed.
