Tatarstan Investment Development Agency as a “single window” for international interaction
The first joint meeting of the Club of Heads of Trade and Economic Missions (Departments of Embassies) of Foreign Countries Accredited in Moscow and the Council of Heads of Representative Offices of the Russian Regions under the President and the Government of Russia took place in the Expocenter Moscow Central Exhibition Complex. The meeting was held as part of the International Commodity Fair, an international exhibition of quality consumer goods. The economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan was presented by Insaf Galiev, the First Deputy Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
The Tatarstan Investment Development Agency came forward with an initiative to become a “single window” for cooperation between countries and regions and it was identified as a contact body for operational interaction with diplomatic representatives, their trade departments and regional representatives in Moscow to strengthen international, foreign economic, investment and interregional relations.
At the bilateral talks, the government officials, the figures from business and banking structures of the Republic of Dagestan, Komi, Kazakhstan, Bashkortostan, China and Austria have expressed interest in comprehensive cooperation with Tatarstan.
