Four cities of the Republic received the status of an advanced development territory. There are two special economic zones ("Alabuga" and "Innopolis"), technoparks and industrial sites, industrial parks on the territory of all municipalities of the republic. In my opinion, now is the best time for Finnish business to come to us", the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov greeted the guests of the forum.

The forum started its history in 2011. Previously, the event took place in such large Russian cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg. Over its eight years of history, the forum has established itself as an effective site for discussion of issues of the Finnish-Russian cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

Personal factor also plays a role here Tatarstan is one of my favorite regions of Russia", the Director General of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce Jaana Rekolainen explained.
