Mechanical engineering unites Germany and Tatarstan

On March 7 and 8, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the city of Leipzig (the Federal Republic of Germany) to take part in Leipzig Fair. The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency accompanied the President as a part of delegation.
The main purpose of the visit was to take part in 14th International exhibition of spare parts, components, modules and technologies "Z / Intec-2017".

The exhibition is located at the Leipzig Trade Fair complex, one of the oldest in the world. The main sections of "Z / Intec-2017" exhibition are supplies for the automotive, engineering and machine-building industries, as well as electronics/electrical engineering, industrial equipment, tools, metal processing.
The program of "Z" exhibition includes business meetings, international conferences, special meetings and seminars, as well as a wide range of events for exhibitors and visitors.

At the exhibition, the Republic of Tatarstan was presented at an interactive stand organized by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, where the meetings with the representatives of German business community were held. The visitors could get acquainted with such projects as the Kama innovative territorial production cluster "Innokam", SEZ "Alabuga", SEZ "Innopolis".

The "Z" exhibition was held simultaneously and at the same site with International trade fair for machine tools, manufacturing and automation "Intec". Participation in exhibition in the framework of these events enabled these Tatarstan's companies to increase their recognition on the international scene, find new partners, as well as to present unique opportunities of their enterprises.

"We managed to present our republic at exhibition in Germany honorably, which  will positively affect investment flows in the Republic of Tatarstan. We worked with such enterprises as Pozis, Proftermo and some others. An arrangement to open a representative office of Tatarstan in Saxony was reached" - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina pointed out.

In the framework of exhibitions, eventful science workshops and seminars program on the topics of technological progress in automotive industry and machine building, resource-efficient production, news and tendencies of subsuppliers was held.

On March 7, the cooperation Forum for specialists from the Russian Federation and CIS countries was held in Russian language. In the framework of the exhibitions, the contact exchange with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Enterprise Europe Network took place.

Besides, the agreement between KNRTU n.a. Tupolev and "AMTES GmbH" was signed, the delegation visited the BMW Group plant and the startup business accelerator SpinLab, the meeting with representatives of the Tatar Youth Organization "Argamak" was also held. During his stay in Leipzig, Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich.

Exhibitors of INTEC are the final producers, system suppliers and suppliers employed in the following industries: machine-tools, equipment for handling of sheet material, forging press equipment, additive manufacturing technologies, control equipment and instruments, mechanization of manufacturing processes, means and methods of personal protection, thermal treatment equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repair and modernization of equipment, foundry equipment, robotics, precision machinery and instruments, software and IT-solutions, etc.
Z is an international specialized exhibition of subcontracting, presenting a wide range of products on sub-contractors and machine tools services, manufacturing industrial equipment and other industries (electronics, electrical engineering, automotive industry, instrument engineering).

The exhibitors of Z - Subcontracting Fair 2017 are manufacturers, developers and suppliers of

accessories, components, tools and technologies for different kinds of assembly and installation, workpieces and components, production processes as technological subcontracting, polymer, rubber and composites parts, instruments and tooling for production of accessories, electrical engineering/electronic, parts, modules, technologies.
