Taliya Minullina is the winner of International Award, the Roza Mira Gold Medal, and the first in history to receive the Passionary of the 3rd Millennium title

The Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Taliya Minullina, was honored with the International Award – the Roza Mira (Rose of the World) Gold Medal – and became the first laureate in the award’s history in the nomination “Passionary of the 3rd Millennium”.

The awarding ceremony took place on June 11 at the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan within the framework of the VIII Kazan Eurasian Research and Practice Forum “Integration and Modernization Potential of Eurasia: Situation, Projects and Implementation Formats”. The award was conferred by Engel Tagirov, the rector of the Institute for the Culture of Peace (UNESCO), President of the International Humanitarian Academy "Europe-Asia", member of the presidium of the UN Association of Russia.

“It is a great honor for me. First of all, I would like to thank the leadership of Tatarstan – the first President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, thanks to whom we live in a prosperous republic, and the current President Rustam Minnikhanov – my chief – thanks to whom I learned a lot and with whom Tatarstan reaches new heights in all areas. Also, I express thanks to my colleagues and employees who every day with me take small steps towards great things. Together we make a significant contribution to the development of the world and make the lives of our people better,” thanked Taliya Minullina during the awarding ceremony.

The Roza Mira award was established in 2000 by a joint decision of the International Humanitarian Academy “Europe-Asia” and the Institute for the Culture of Peace (UNESCO). It is given to well-known Russian and foreign politicians, heads of states, scientists, educationalists, artists, heads of scientific and educational centers (universities), international, non-governmental, peacemaking, humanitarian organizations who have made a significant contribution to the development of economics, science, education, culture, art, and sports, and to the introduction into the social practice of the ideas and values ​​of democracy, progress, culture of peace, tolerance, interfaith harmony and dialogue of civilizations.

The award is given in 4 nominations, including “Peacemaker of the Planet”, “Companion of Science” (Education, Culture), “Creator of the Epoch”. Over the years, the award was conferred to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Directors General of UNESCO, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and others. In 2009, the first President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev received the award.
