Kazan Digital Week has started!

Taliya Minullina, as part of the Government of the Republic, took part in the opening ceremony of the forum and exhibition today.

The mission of the event is to facilitate the exchange of scientific and technical information, consolidate industry assets that can effectively solve the problems of import substitution and import conservation, as well as ensure technological and data sovereignty as the basis of Russia's leadership in international cooperation.

Business sessions from leading Russian companies will be available to KDW-2024 participants. 600 speakers will be working at the KDW site these days. 140 companies presented their solutions at the 4,000 square meter exhibition.

In total, more than 3,300 IT companies operate in Tatarstan with a total revenue of 177 billion rubles.

"The Republic is in the first place in terms of the number of investments in fixed assets by IT companies"

This was announced by the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadaev at the plenary session of Kazan Digital Week, which this year was dedicated to digitalization in healthcare, culture, and transport.
Tatarstan has tried to make the most effective use of the opportunities of federal national projects in these areas.
 Shadaev spoke about the new national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation".
The main goal is to ensure Russia's technological sovereignty.

The national project includes the following items:

  • secure cloud services;
  • implementation of government services;
  • grants, support for startups;
  • assistance to companies in replicating solutions.
