II Russian-Chinese Forum: exchange of knowledge, experience, contacts and culture
For the second year in a row, the International Forum "Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation: ROSTKI" will gather representatives of the business circles of Russia and China in Kazan to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields of activity. The event will be held from November 13 to 15, 2024.
The topics of the business sessions of the II Russian-Chinese Forum cover a wide range of areas, including industry, information technology, healthcare, education and agriculture. Excursions to key enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan (PJSC KAMAZ, HAYER INDUSTRY RUS, LLC KAMASTAL, JSC SEZ Innopolis, State Autonomous Institution Technopark in the Sphere of High Technologies IT Park) are also planned.
The program will place special emphasis on long-term Russian-Chinese interstate cooperation, which will be one of the key topics of discussion within the framework of the business session of the Forum "75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Russia and China: from "Great Friendship" to Mutually Beneficial Economic Cooperation".
Cultural and educational exchange between Russia and China also plays an important role in strengthening bilateral relations. Tools for inter-municipal cooperation and trends in the development of science and education will be presented by experts within the framework of sessions devoted to education and the social environment. Forum speakers will also touch upon the historical and cultural aspects of interaction between the two countries and the further development of the tourism cluster.
The rich business program will be supplemented by sessions on the implementation of international projects, where Forum participants will be able to learn about the intricacies of doing business in Russia and China, as well as about the features of investment cooperation in the modern realities of the global market.
The plenary session "Russia and China in the Global Economic Game" will be held on the second day of the Forum. It is expected that official government delegations from the provinces of Jilin, Jilin, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Chongqing Municipality, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, Belgorod, Volgograd, Kirov, Rostov, Lugansk, Murmansk, Sakhalin, Tyumen Oblasts, the Republics of Dagestan and Komi, the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, the Udmurt, Chechen and Chuvash Republics, as well as heads of major Chinese companies will take part in it.
The Cross-Cultural Zone, dedicated to the Year of Cross-Cultural Russia and China and presented at the Forum, will feature an extensive program of Russian, Chinese and Tatar traditional arts and crafts.
The cultural platform program also includes:
a fashion show and performances by creative groups,
master classes in Chinese language, calligraphy and making a felt dragon,
Chinese chess and other traditional board games,
lectures on the specifics of Russian-Chinese negotiations,
other activities.
