History of the Agency
31.12.2007 – By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan M.Sh. Shaimiev dated December 31, 2007 No. UP-720 "On the Committee for the Development of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Tatarstan" the Committee for the Development of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Tatarstan was established;
01.06.2011 – By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov dated June 1, 2011 No. UP-298 "On the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan" the Committee for the Development of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Tatarstan was transformed into the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to improve the work on attracting investments into the economy of Tatarstan, as well as to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of investment projects.
19.07.2011 – the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency joined the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), an international non-governmental organization created in 1995 by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, which serves as a forum for investment promotion agencies, ensures networking, and disseminates best practices of its members in the field of investment promotion.
06.05.2013 – based on the Resolution of the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 3-p dated 06.05.2013, as a result of the transformation of the State Unitary Enterprise “Agency for the Development of International Cooperation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan”, JSC “Export Corporation of the Republic of Tatarstan” was established. The main objectives are: providing assistance to exporting enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan in promoting their products to the markets of neighboring and far-abroad countries, as well as regions of the Russian Federation; development of non-resource exports of the Republic of Tatarstan by increasing the number of exporting enterprises and the volume of export transactions; promotion of investment opportunities of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as strengthening the image of the republic as a reliable trade and economic partner. The Chairman of the Board of Directors is the head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan Taliya Minullina.
17.10.2014 - Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanova from 17.10.2020 No. UP-993 «O appointment T.I. Minullina is the head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan" Talia Ilgizovna Minullina has been appointed to the position of head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, replacing Linar Gabdelnurovich Yakupov on this post.
15.12.2015 - Launched Investment portal of the Republic of Tatarstan invest.tatarstan.ru. The site is translated into 11 languages of the world, which cover 2/3 of the planet and the world's richest countries. Today, this information resource is in great demand among people interested in developing their own business in Tatarstan. The purpose of the portal is to present the investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan to Russian and foreign investors, to attract investments to the republic.
23.03.2016 – The Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan became a member of the non-profit organization “National Association of Investment and Development Agencies”, which was established in 2006 to unite the efforts of regional development institutions (investment agencies and development corporations) aimed at creating conditions that contribute to increasing investment attractiveness and investment inflows into the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
05.05.2016 – By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 05.05.2016 No. 283 “On the establishment of an autonomous non-profit organization “Directorate of International Programs”, an organization subordinate to the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan was established, the purpose of which was: organizing international, all-Russian, interregional and republican events, organizing congress and exhibition activities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of attracting investments.
17.05.2016 – The Tatarstan Investment Development Agency moved into its own building (11 Agronomicheskaya St., Kazan).
22.12.2016 – the opening of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency’s Unified Presentation Center – an exhibition and presentation hall designed to work with potential investors. The Unified Presentation Center helps to effectively disseminate information about the investment, economic and production potential of the Republic of Tatarstan and includes an exhibition hall, an export wall “Made in Tatarstan”, a national Tatar hut, interactive screens and a 5D cinema with the possibility of a virtual visit to industrial enterprises and industrial parks operating in the republic.
27.12.2016 – Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 27.12.2016 No. 1013 "On the establishment of the joint-stock company "Projects of Tatarstan" established an organization JSC "Projects of Tatarstan" subordinate to the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan. The organization has the right to carry out any type of activity not prohibited by current legislation and is focused on the development of the business sector in various sectors of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia. At present, it has already implemented more than 100 projects.
14.11.2017 – a presentation of the "Convention Bureau" of the Republic of Tatarstan took place - a new direction for attracting investments of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main objective of the bureau is to help partners and potential investors hold major forums, conferences, business events in Kazan. The bureau has become a "single window" for organizers of major world events. A website has been created for potential partners, where they can obtain all the necessary information about venues and other opportunities for holding events in the republic.
26.04.2018 – Specialists from the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency have developed and launched the first sports project in Russia within the framework of the federal law “On public-private partnership, municipal-private partnership in the Russian Federation” No. 224-FZ.
04.06.2018 – The Agency approved an order to create an advisory body under the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency “Investors Club of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
