Taliya Minullina, Head of the AIR of the Republic of Tatarstan, has previously personally delivered presentations at United Nations headquarters twice: in Geneva (2019) and New York (2020) on the Sustainable Development Goals and women's rights, and continues to regularly highlight these issues today at UNAC conferences.

This year, during the BRICS summit, Taliya Minullina made a presentation on "Achievements of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of sustainable development" in front of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

She also met with the Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Rebecca Greenspan, at the Investment Development Agency. The guest gave a lecture to the staff of the AIR RT, during which she spoke about key trends in the global economy and global trade, which tools help countries best cope with various shocks, as well as the role played by state and international institutions and economic diversification in sustainable development. To illustrate her theses, Ms. Secretary General provided the most up-to-date statistical data, which, among other things, is being collected and analyzed by the commission she heads.

At the end of the presentation, the Agency's staff asked Rebecca Greenspan questions about new payment systems, standardization of law in the field of international trade and investment, and invited her to the international economic forum "Russia-the Islamic World: KAZANFORUM 2025".

Also after the meeting, Ms. Greenspan took part in a press conference during which she commented on the criticism of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres after his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and participation in the BRICS summit.: "Mr. Antonio Guterres, the UN Secretary General attended the BRICS summit, as he already mentioned in his speech, because he previously attended the summit when it was held in South Africa, it is an important part of the world, the world's population, because it is important for the global economy, and I would also like to remind you that he also participated in the G7." - She said.

Among other things, Rebecca Greenspan shared her impressions of the BRICS summit in Kazan: "Everything was very well organized, we were very well received. Everything that was supposed to happen happened, everything went according to plan, we were impressed by the good organization of the BRICS summit and I really love Kazan! What I managed to see is very beautiful. It's a very beautiful city, and it seems to be a very good place to live. And the food is delicious!" she said.

AIR RT is doing a lot of work to stimulate investments in sectors that will bring socio-economic benefits and help countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2018, AIR RT was awarded the United Nations Award for Outstanding Achievements in this field. In Russia, only Tatarstan has such an award.
