The authorities of Tatarstan intend to hold a competition for two international awards, Halal Business Woman and Halal Charity for women named after Khadija Bint Khuwaylid. This is reported in the draft decree of the head of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, prepared by the Investment Development Agency of the republic, which is undergoing an anti-corruption examination.
The awards are planned to support and enhance the role, status and authority of women in society and the business environment. The goal is also to popularize and recognize the outstanding achievements of women, their charitable and social projects, socially significant initiatives aimed at helping people and improving the quality of life as individual citizens, the document says.
In addition, the purpose of the competition in the draft decree is to help women achieve success, promote their business projects and personal brands, which are key to progress in strengthening trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
