The AIM Forum is a place for face-to-face meetings with members of the World Association of Investment Development Agencies and global institutions. At a round table with the participation of UN organizations, the World Economic Forum, the governments of Tajikistan, Nepal, the Dominican Republic, Mali and other countries, both successful practices and difficulties in promoting territories to investors were discussed.
Stevenson from the WEF noted that it is difficult to find structured proposals for investors on investment portals of territories around the world.
Talia Minullina: “Starting this year, the availability of offers for investors has already become a requirement within the framework of the regional investment standard. Tatarstan has them, but taking into account the formulated requirements for them and the global trend, we will intensify work in this direction.
We personally participate in association events twice a year. They always take place at the UAE Forum and at the World Investment Conference at the end of the year. This year it will be held in October in Saudi Arabia, and I think this is another opportunity to interact with the OIC country.”
Deputy Head of the Agency Marina Epifantseva took part in the events of the World Association of Agencies from the Agency of Tatarstan.
