The XII International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021" was held in Kazan from 28 to 30 July. The event took place on the territory of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. Conscious consumption has become the leitmotif of KazanSummit 2021. In 2021, the International Engineering Cluster Forum was held on the sidelines of the Summit for the first time. Traditionally, among the participants: heads of subjects and municipalities, ministries and departments, industrial enterprises, engineering centers, institutions of higher education. In 2021, 24 companies took part in the forum.

SberTalk session was held in the business communication zone of Sberbank. The central topic of the conversation this year was the ESG transformation of regions. ESG is a specific set of principles and approaches in the field of social, environmental and managerial responsibility, which, along with the usual economic parameters, must be taken into account in the planning and activities of any company. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that Tatarstan aims to work closely with Sberbank, as one of the locomotives for introducing the latest trends, including in the field of ESG.

On the site of the summit, the Russian Islamic Institute and Ak Bars Bank held the Bai Business Interactive Game. More than 4500 people have become registered participants of the Summit. During the Summit, the Forum of Young Leaders of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Russia and the CIS countries was held. Participation in the Forum was confirmed by over 100 representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Among them are presidents of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, deputies, department directors and young specialists. The Forum was attended by representatives of 37 Russian CCIs from 38 regions, 9 representatives of foreign CCIs.

Within the framework of the Forum, networking sessions, general sessions on topical areas, master classes on areas of the CCI's work, trainings, consultation sessions, consultation meetings with coaches and experts in various fields, and excursions were held.
