Today, within the walls of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting of the Engineering Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan was held following the results of activities in 2021.

Taliya Minullina, head of the Investment Promotion Agency, began her opening speech with a sad note on the occasion of the death of one of the members of the Cluster Board. Pavlikov Mikhail Sergeevich died at the age of 68. The cluster members honored their colleague with a minute of silence.

“A number of projects were launched in 2021: the opening of the Bonus-Kama plant in Mendeleevsk; 2nd stage of the Piton-Kama plant in Nizhnekamsk; Profterma - the second stage is launched with plans to launch this year in Naberezhnye Chelny; KamKhimMash - the plant will be launched in technical mode also in Mendeleevsk in 2022; investment project "RIAD" in Chelny; Kora – expansion of production is expected in the second quarter in Chelny; PromVest opens a new production complex; "Promtekhkomplekt" - the opening of the production of fiberglass, fittings, pipes.

We understand that the cluster is growing and developing. I would like to thank all the members for the difficult year that we lived together. Now only the most courageous and ambitious survive,” said the head of the Agency.

A detailed report on the work of the Machine-Building Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan was made by its Chairman Sergey Mayorov. He spoke about how the cluster is expanding its geography in Russia and around the world, what state support measures have been received over the past year, as well as the volume of priority projects planned for implementation in 2022.

“The number of cluster members over the past year has grown by 14 representatives and now stands at 179 companies. Cluster members are present in 16 regions of the Russian Federation, the Kurgan region has been added to us. As for foreign participants, they have not changed, and Turkey and Germany are also leaders.

Over the past year, we have conducted 10 business missions, participated in 28 exhibitions and forums, and signed 24 agreements. So far, we have signed 430 agreements.

I would like to express special gratitude to Taliya Ilgizovna Minullina. Basically, all meetings were held with her support within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

We have 17 priority projects in our plans for 2022. Priority projects are projects for innovative products or services that we actively promote both in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and in other countries.

I would also like to note that we are the only machine-building cluster in Russia that has its own international machine-building cluster forum, which, thanks to the support of Taliya Ilgizovna and the Investment Promotion Agency, we have already held 7 times. In 2021, it was attended by the Federal Minister of Economic Development, which seriously raised the level of our forum, which was attended by participants from 30 regions and 15 countries of the world,” Sergey Mayorov said about the results of his activities.

Also on the agenda of the meeting of the members of the Mashcluster were the speeches of the members of the Supervisory Board with proposals to support the members of the cluster.
