Today President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the ICL Techno computer equipment manufacturing plant in the Laishevsky district.
Viktor Dyachkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC ICL - KPO VS, spoke about the products manufactured and the prospects for further development of production. The slides presented figures reflecting the dynamics of product sales in 2017-2021. So, in 2021, the company produced 121 thousand products, including laptops, monoblocks, PCs. The company has been working within the framework of import substitution for three years.
Speaking to the participants of the event, Rustam Minnikhanov said that today he got acquainted with the production process at the engineering center of ICL Techno.
“For the company, working in new conditions is also new challenges related to import substitution,” said the President of Tatarstan. - In general, serious work is being done here, and this gives confidence that we will find a solution in the current situation. Today we give laptops to teachers. In general, teachers will receive 12,000 laptops, and this is a serious support for the education system.”
