Volga Agroindustrial Forum started at Kazanskaya Yarmarka on February 17. Summary session of Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food became the key meeting of extensive business program of forum work. Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session on results of work of the agro-industrial complex in 2015 and tasks for 2016 in the framework of “Tatarstan – 2030” strategy. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive attended the session and opening of agroindustrial exhibition.

The gross income of the industry resulted in more than 49 billion rubles in 2015, 1, 5% more than last year and is expected to make 52 billion rubles in 2016.

The partnership agreement between JSC New Forwarding Company, investor of “Agromir – Kazan”, and Mercados De Abastecimientos de Barcelona S.A. (MERCABARNA), one of the acknowledged leaders in food clusters implementation, was signed on January 21.
