Project implementation period with reaching the design capacity by 2027

We are implementing the project “Construction of a Gas Turbine Equipment Plant” in Zelenodolsk (Republic of Tatarstan). On the basis of this plant, production of restorative repair of spare parts for gas turbine units (GTU) will be organized with subsequent development of a section for manufacturing hot path parts and a section for aggregation of GTU. The guaranteed volume of investments in the region will amount to over 350 million rubles, which will create at least 86 new jobs. Completion of the project and reaching the design capacity is planned for 2027.

What is the value of your project?

The value of the project is the creation of production aimed at ensuring the security of the fuel and energy complex of Russia in the context of the current sanctions pressure. The project also contributes to the growth of the number of jobs in the region, which is important and necessary for its socio-economic development.

Why did you choose the Republic of Tatarstan for your investment activities? Did you have other options?

The choice of the Republic of Tatarstan for the implementation of the project was deliberate. The region is a rich source of highly qualified specialists in the field of turbine construction, with a convenient territorial location and tangible support from the authorities in business development. Despite possible alternatives, the Republic of Tatarstan has become the most promising and suitable place for the implementation of the investment project.

How did the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan and the municipality help you? Are you satisfied with the work on your project?

Together with colleagues from the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, we prepared and received approval at the Investment Council. A package of documents was also prepared and sent to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan to obtain a land plot for the project. I would like to express my gratitude to the Agency employees, in particular, to the Head Taliya Ilgizovna, for their openness and willingness to help in solving complex issues. I would also like to highlight the Head of the Zelenodolsk Municipal Formation, Mikhail Pavlovich Afanasyev, and express my gratitude to him for the prompt, clear and effectively organized work of the municipality and his personal participation in resolving issues related to the implementation of our project.

What can be improved in the work of the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan with investment projects?

The authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan have successfully organized work on the support and implementation of investment projects, the creation of a favorable investment climate and the development of a "Roadmap" for investors. The Republic is moving in the right direction, but for further improvement I propose to optimize the timing of inspections and approvals, actively support the development of infrastructure and communications for projects, and constantly improve and offer support programs for new investment initiatives.
