Industrial sites of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny

As part of the work carried out on investment activities and the creation of investment sites, the municipal formation of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny reports the following:

The document "Mechanism for the development of small and medium entrepreneurship of the municipal formation of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny" has been approved. As a result, a structure for supporting entrepreneurship has been approved and is systematically operating, which includes 46 organizations that promote business development.

In order to coordinate the general work carried out in the field of investment in the city, by Resolution of the Mayor No. M609 dated September 27, 2013, a public Council for Investments and Innovations under the Mayor of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny was created, which is designed to stimulate entrepreneurial activity, promote the development of a favorable investment climate in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

The created public council of the city will allow to consider and analyze projects for the expediency of their implementation in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and the need (possibility) of their support by local government bodies and the possibility of their recommendation for submission to the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. The functions of the Council also provide for the coordination of work on the selection of projects for their inclusion in the Catalogue of investment projects of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and their subsequent support.

In order to accumulate a list of investment projects of the city and a list of potential investors, in 2012, the "Agency for Attracting Investments" was created. This Agency interacts with the Executive Committee of the city, the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan and the business community of the city. The activities of the Agency are aimed at attracting investments in all sectors of the city economy.

The Agency has developed a catalog of investment projects of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, which includes more than 15 enterprises and organizations seeking investments. All declared projects have business plans. A website of the investment attractiveness of the city chelny-invest.ru has also been created.

Today, the City Executive Committee, together with the Naberezhnye Chelny Investment Attraction Agency, receives foreign or Russian delegations every month that are interested in locating production facilities and opening various types of businesses. The Agency's Department of External Relations has begun work in terms of organizing business missions to regions of Russia and abroad with the aim of exchanging experience and establishing economic ties between entrepreneurs and attracting partners to implement investment projects.

The Agency takes part in major all-Russian and international economic and investment forums on a weekly basis. Since the beginning of 2013, the Agency has taken part in forums in Tver, Samara, Moscow, St. Petersburg and others, as well as visiting seminars of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of the Russian Federation. In 2014, an annual plan for international exhibitions and business missions to the regions of Russia was approved, in which any interested entrepreneur can take part.

In addition, an agreement was concluded with the Agency to find residents for the Razvitie industrial park.

Entrepreneurs have been contacting us regarding the creation of private agro-industrial sites. The Yuzhny agro-industrial park is located on the territory of our city.

The total area of ​​the Yuzhny agro-industrial park is 2.3 hectares. There are 80 warehouses in two buildings, each with an area of ​​54 sq. m. The park is designed to create 380 jobs. At the end of June 2013, a new facility consisting of 100 pavilions with an area of ​​2,880 sq. m. was commissioned, and by the end of 2014, the second facility – a two-story building with 200 pavilions with a total area of ​​4,320 sq. m.

As part of the optimization and improvement of the logistics of goods flows of entrepreneurs in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and nearby municipal districts, Chelny Khleb CJSC plans to build the Zakamsky Region Agro-Industrial Park. The creation of such a park will increase the investment attractiveness of the region, create more than 1,000 new jobs, ensure transparency of the pricing policy for agricultural products and quality control of the products sold, create conditions for the development of small and medium businesses and introduce advanced agricultural technologies.

The Exhibition Center "EXPO-KAMA" plays a major role in demonstrating the economic attractiveness of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, representing part of the infrastructure for supporting and developing entrepreneurship in the city. This center is one of the largest organizers of international and all-Russian exhibitions in the Republic of Tatarstan. Over the years, more than 10,000 enterprises from all over Russia, as well as from neighboring and distant countries, have taken part in the company's exhibitions. The exhibitions are visited by more than 95,000 people per year.

The Department of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship Support of the Executive Committee considers all proposals from private investors on the creation of private industrial sites. Through this work, 3 projects have been developed: the industrial park "Equipment Base", the industrial investment park "Korib" and the industrial park "Chelny".
