Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina, in an interview with the international news agency Sputnik at the international economic forum in St. Petersburg, spoke about the work of the DiDi company in Kazan and its prospects in the region with the opening of a research center in Innopolis, as well as plans to commission the Midea refrigeration plant.
“Didi Chuxing entered the Russian market through the Republic of Tatarstan. They have their own standards of work, they not only invest and provide services, but also bring culture to taxi management, which is also very important to us. We are discussing with DiDi the possibility of opening a research center in Innopolis, where we will introduce joint research and development results in the field of transport, ”Taliya Minullina said in an interview with the publication.
The head of the Agency also emphasized the importance of joint work with such a large company for the republic, noting the vast geography of DiDi host countries. Experience of working with many foreign partners will help to introduce effective solutions for road traffic in Tatarstan.
“On the one hand, this is the provision of better services to people in the republic, on the other hand, for us it is a new tool for working on the development of the region,” added Taliya Minullina.
Didi Chuxing entered the Russian market in the summer of 2020 and opened 36 cities, including Kazan.
