Meeting of the Strategic Development Group "Russia - Islamic World"
Today the head of the Investment Development Agency of Tatarstan Taliya Minullina made a presentation at the information meeting of the Strategic Development Group "Russia - Islamic World", held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
“We consider the OIC countries as adherents in the further democratization of international life, its building on the solid foundation of the UN Charter. Naturally, Russia and Islamic countries interact closely and fruitfully in various formats. A significant contribution to the common efforts is being made by the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group, which is headed by Rustam Minnikhanov on behalf of President Vladimir Putin, ”said Sergei Lavrov, head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Taliya Minullina in her speech noted the importance of the events, forums, conferences and festivals for the development of interaction between the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The International Economic Summit “Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit” is the central and brightest event in the work of the members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The summit contains many different sessions, round tables, business meetings, major events on the sidelines of the summit itself, as well as a rich cultural program. KazanSummit is also one of the main platforms for the work of countries and regions with Islamic banking. We are waiting for all of you in Kazan from 28 to 30 July! ”- said the head of the Agency in her speech at the meeting.
The Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group was established in 2006 after the Russian Federation joined the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as an observer.
