Meeting with the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
The delegation of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, and in particular the head of the Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member countries. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the XII International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021" at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.
“Every year the event becomes more authoritative, the geography of its participants is expanding. We are grateful to you for your support of our forum, ”the President of the Republic addressed the meeting participants.
For multinational and multi-confessional Russia, cooperation with the Islamic world is one of the most important vectors of foreign policy. One of the most effective mechanisms for joint work with the Muslim world is the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group. Since 2014, the organization has been headed by Rustam Minnikhanov. Among the main tasks of the Group are all possible assistance to the further rapprochement of Russia with the Islamic world, the establishment of economic cooperation, the expansion of interaction between youth and public organizations. Also, work is underway to promote the traditional values of the Muslim peoples of Russia.
“We thank every Ambassador and delegation who came to Tatarstan, attended our international summit and became its honored guests,” Taliya Minullina said.
