Meeting with the delegation of the Turkish Republic in the framework of KazanSummit 2021
Today in the Kazan Kremlin the delegation of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan met with representatives of the Republic of Turkey headed by the Minister of Trade of Turkey Mehmet Mush.
Mehmet Mush thanked the President of Tatarstan for the support of Turkish companies and for active assistance in the implementation of their projects. This explains the increased interest of Turkish business in Tatarstan, the minister stressed.
The minister also assured that the investment projects of Tatarstan companies in Turkey will definitely be supported. “These are very valuable projects. The process is already under way. We will make every effort for their successful implementation, ”added Mehmet Mush.
Turkey is one of the main foreign economic partners of Tatarstan, which has invested about $ 2 billion in the region's economy.Before the coronavirus pandemic, the trade between Tatarstan and Turkey exceeded $ 480 million. Last year, the volume of mutual trade amounted to $ 360 million.
