Round table on expanding the use of petrochemical products in the construction industry
A round table dedicated to the issue of expanding the use of petrochemical products in the construction industry was held today within the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum at the Kazan Expo IEC. The head of the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina, attended the round table meeting, in which the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nogayev took part.
At a round table within the framework of the petrochemical forum, the Investment Development Agency presented a catalog of manufacturers of building materials, in which 223 companies are represented. The participants also discussed the expansion of the use of republican petrochemical products in the construction industry.
Speakers from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of Tatarstan noted that high rates of construction should be ensured by the corresponding growth of the building materials industry, and Tatarstan manufacturers are ready for such large-scale tasks. Following the results of the past year, 7 new enterprises were opened. Also, since 2010, more than 60 chemical and petrochemical industries have been commissioned in Tatarstan, focused on the production of construction products or products that are raw materials for the production of innovative building materials and products.
