The head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina, was briefed today on the results and agreements of the visit of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Turkish province of Isparta to the Republic of Tatarstan.
“Thank you for organizing such a rich and useful program for our delegation,” the Chairman of the Isparta CCI thanked the Investment Development Agency at the beginning of the meeting, which was held in the format of a video link.
Entrepreneurs from Isparta have identified three main areas for cooperation with Tatarstan: the supply of finished Turkish marble for construction purposes, the opening of long-term storage warehouses in Tatarstan for storing fruits and vegetables from the same region, as well as the sale of fishery products with plans for further cooperation. in the field of breeding certain types of fish.
In particular, members of the Board of the Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry spoke about plans to organize a company that will install and place long-term storage warehouses for fruits and berries from Turkey. These are apples, cherries, roses and lavenders, from which they produce chemicals, including food. It was about the creation of own sites for logistics centers with refrigeration equipment in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Regarding the supply of Turkish marble, the agreements reached the level of verification of the suitability of these products for use on the territory of Tatarstan in order to further import them.
During their visit to the republic, entrepreneurs from Isparta also agreed to enter into trade relations with the FISH company to resolve the issue of exporting fish from Turkey, which is also supposed to be stored in refrigerated chambers, where the products can be stored for up to a year without losing quality. Turkish businessmen are interested in breeding pike perch fish in the water area of the Volga River in Tatarstan - this type of fish is one of the main products of the Isparta-based company.
In turn, the head of the Agency, Taliya Minullina, positively noted the region's interest in Tatarstan and agreed to assist in work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
“It is important now to start the implementation of these projects in Tatarstan so that entrepreneurs and investors can see the work done, which we can talk about not only within Tatarstan, but also at the federal level,” added the head of the department.
The Turkish delegation of the Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Investment Development Agency in mid-August of this year, where employees of the department prepared a large program for them with visits to the main production and logistics centers of the republic, meetings in the relevant ministries of Tatarstan and meetings with large construction and food companies.
