Meeting with the head of the KazanExpress marketplace
Today the head of the Investment Development Agency of Tatarstan Taliya Minullina held a meeting with the founder and head of the KazanExpress marketplace Linar Khusnullin.
At the meeting, the founder of the marketplace spoke about the company's financial successes and plans for the future to expand the company. He presented a new project for the integrated development of a territory for 10,000 inhabitants with the development of social infrastructure, as well as with the emergence of an industrial and technopark for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. This project is planned to start with an area of 30 hectares.
Today, the revenue of KazanExpress is 1 billion rubles a month, and according to estimates, by the end of this year it will reach financial indicators of 3 billion rubles a month. Also, the share of "big brother" - AliExpress - in the republican company is 30% today. And the work of the company is supported by about 5,000 sellers, 66% of whom are Tatarstan entrepreneurs.
Linar Khusnullin also said that today KazanExpress provides more than 50 thousand orders per day and plans to triple these figures by the end of the year. The company also plans to open warehouses on the territory of the Sviyazhsky multimodal interregional logistics center with an area of 1 million sq. M. The construction of the first stage of this site has already begun. In 2022, this logistics hub of KazanExpress will provide more than 10,000 jobs for residents of the republic, and by 2023, the cumulative result will be 27,000 jobs.
