Russia will host the World Sports Medicine Congress!
Kazan won the right to host the 38th World Sports Medicine Congress in 2024. Kazan's competitors in the final round were Belgrade (Serbia) and Zagreb (Croatia). The results were announced today at this Congress, which is now taking place in Athens, Greece.
The application campaign was carried out by the Convention Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan under the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, the main freelance specialists of the Republic of Tatarstan and RASMIRBI ("Russian Association for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation of Sick and Disabled People") with the official support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
