Cooperation with Turkey in agriculture
The head of the Investment Development Agency, Taliya Minullina, held a meeting with the chairman of the board, founder of the Turkish company Taban Gyda, Aras Demir. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the agricultural sector.
The company specializes in the sale of agricultural products, and also develops projects for the deep processing of grain.
At the meeting, Taliya Minullina told Turkish partners in detail about the investment benefits of working with Tatarstan, such as special economic zones, federal tax preferences and the high potential for the development of the entire agro-industrial complex in the republic.
The parties are open to cooperation and discussed the prospects for creating joint projects in agriculture.
Also at a meeting of company representatives with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan values relations with Turkey as one of its key partners. Turkish companies have invested about $ 2 billion in the republic. 10 Turkish factories are successfully operating on the territory of Tatarstan.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted the high potential for the development of cooperation in the field of the agro-industrial complex. He said that Tatarstan is one of the largest producers of livestock products. The republic ranks first in Russia in terms of milk production, and is also one of the ten largest producers of livestock and poultry meat.
