The leading woodworking company in Russia, Kastamonu, has produced 100 million square meters of laminate for the domestic market in 7.5 years. This milestone was reached in February 2022.
The leaders in terms of laminate supplies among the regions are the Central (43%), Volga (18%) and Southern (14%) federal districts, in total they account for 75% of products.

In March 2021, the company launched its third laminate production line in record time. As a result, the annual volume of laminate flooring produced has increased from 30 million m² to 45 million m². In September 2021, Kastamonu expanded its product portfolio with a laminate of the highest - 34th - class of wear resistance.
In August 2021, the WhatWood analytical agency conducted a study of the Russian laminate and MDF market, in which it compared the shares of the largest manufacturers in the woodworking industry. According to the results of the study, Kastamonu ranks first in Russia in terms of production capacity of laminated floors and MDF.
