Dialogue between the Pilot Zone of Regional Trade and Economic Cooperation "China-SCO" and the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency
As part of strengthening economic ties between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Tatarstan, in the format of Russian-Chinese international relations, a meeting was held via videoconference between the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the China-SCO Regional Trade and Economic Cooperation Zone. With your assistance, the volume of investments from China, in particular from the province of Shandong, will grow steadily,” added Insaf Musharrafovich.
Insaf Galiev also presented the investment, industrial and tourism potential of the Republic of Tatarstan to Chinese colleagues, noting the significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations and industry of a major Chinese investor, Haier.
“The positive economic and social experience of Haier has prompted other Chinese companies to pay attention to the Republic of Tatarstan,” said Zhang Shijun, Deputy Head of the Bilateral Investment Department of the Chinese Pilot Zone, in her address.
She also mentioned the need to strengthen the dialogue at the level of the Governments of the republic and the province, the relationship between the economic zone in China and the Agency, and increase cooperation with the regions of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“We hope that with the help of the Investment Development Agency of Tatarstan we will be able to establish mutually beneficial relations with industrial, machine and mechanical enterprises of the republic,” said Ms. Shijun after the report.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to hold another meeting at the end of May in order to involve a number of interested enterprises from the Tatarstan and Chinese sides in the discussion.
