Today, within the walls of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting of the Tatarstan regional branch of “Business Russia” was held under the chairmanship of the head of the branch, Artur Abdulzyanov, with the participation of the head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Talia Minullina.
Talia Ilgizovna congratulated the event participants on Russian Entrepreneurship Day and took part in the ceremony of awarding members of the organization with certificates of honor and memorable prizes.
Talia Minullina:
“We are very pleased to welcome you within the walls of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan! I think that an entrepreneur in the Russian Federation can be distinguished from an entrepreneur in another country by special qualities that are better developed in our business than in other countries.
This is, of course, dexterity, that is, a certain flexibility in decision making. This is definitely courage, because the domestic market in Russia is very large, it is competitive and constantly changing. And the third “C” is probably stress resistance, which, it seems to me, our entrepreneurs may be even more developed than others, taking into account the changes, including international ones, that the global world is facing today.
Taking into account the fact that everyone present has a business, it is obvious that you already possess these qualities, and we can say that, of course, you have made a certain contribution to the good indicators that the republic is achieving. In 2023, according to all economic indicators, we are moving very well, in fact, like the whole country. If in Russia GDP grew by 3.6%, then in Tatarstan it also grew by 3.6%; investments in fixed capital in the Russian Federation grew by 10% last year, which has not happened at all over the past 12 years, in Tatarstan for 2023 the volume of investments in fixed capital showed an increase of 22%. We also haven't seen this kind of growth in many years. I have been heading an investment agency for 10 years and this is the first time that the market has become so active, taking into account external conditions. I think that each of you definitely has a contribution to this. The question is how big it is and how ready you will be to take on new business initiatives.
I would like to thank Business Russia for the joint work that we are carrying out systematically, systematically, taking into account the fact that Tatarstan is such a unique region, where the regional branch is headed by a deputy. I know this is not as common in other regions. And this gives our regional department the strength and opportunity to come up with initiatives, so we must definitely use it and make the maximum number of proposals. Moreover, the head of Business Russia Alexey Repik is actively involved in this. On May 23, parliamentary hearings on improving the tax system were held. And you know, his words made me very happy. He said that in conditions of access to capital, it is important to create the most stimulating regime for those investors and entrepreneurs who do not postpone their investment decisions, but are now putting their money to work in Russia, financing capital investments in enterprises, products, infrastructure, and the production base for the economy , successful technological sovereignty, economic growth and so on. That is, he was just talking about how important it is today to support those who are in the investment phase and what conditions should be directly in parliament, which can be a good example for our colleagues when your initiatives can be presented by the head of the regional office.”

Talia Minullina: “In general, I can say that the state of your business depends only on you, because you can endlessly shift responsibility to the state, staff shortages, unemployment, high key rates or a number of other reasons, but even in these conditions there are always outsiders and advanced workers.

Because an entrepreneur combines so many competencies in himself, not only industry-specific ones related to the development of a specific business, he must also have enormous, varied, diverse knowledge, skills and abilities in order to carry out external promotion, capitalize his business, enter sales, attract new partners, negotiate with everyone and also motivate your team. I would like your internal strength to always be enough to keep yourself in good shape and, so to speak, to lubricate the sled that you ride regularly, so that your business can afford to continue to develop quickly, dynamically, and not just for profit, but has become something that will bring something new to the market. So that you, too, create a new quality of life for our population and bring social benefits, in addition to enriching yourself and your team.
