A "Municipal Hour" was held at the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the Tukayevsky district presented its economic and investment potential. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Agency, Taliya Minullina.
Opening his speech, Kamil Nazmiev, head of the Executive Committee of the district, outlined key socio-economic indicators: the gross territorial product by the end of 2024 amounted to 69.7 billion rubles, investments – 28 billion rubles. The economy is based on agriculture (21% of GDP) and industry (15%). Special attention is paid to the sustainability and diversification of the economic model: transportation, storage and logistics are actively developing.
"Tukayevsky district produces 37% of the total meat in the republic. This is one of the significant indicators that highlights the territory's leadership position in the agricultural sector," Taliya Minullina said during the meeting. The level of employment and income of the population, the development of education, housing construction and the implementation of social facilities were also discussed.
One of the priority directions of the district's development was the formation of its own administrative center. Kamil Nazmiev recalled that the Tukayevsky district remains the only one in Tatarstan without a regional center on its territory, despite the population of more than 52.6 thousand people and the presence of 87 settlements. In 2024, the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, supported the initiative to move the administration to the village of Novy. According to the head of the executive committee, work in this direction has already begun and will be carried out in stages.
Special attention was paid to a large–scale investment project - the creation of an aeropolis near Begishevo airport. The project was developed jointly with the Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan and involves the construction of medical, trade, exhibition, cultural and leisure facilities, as well as logistics and production sites. The total building area is about 4.8 million square meters.
Representatives of businesses implementing projects in the district also spoke at the Municipal Hour. They presented their initiatives:
• Sergey Kadochnikov, Director of Development at AZ RariTEK;
• Evgeny Mikhailov, Deputy General Director for Development of PakPrestus LLC;
• Ksenia Danilova, Director of Tukai Group LLC.
Investors noted favorable working conditions, the availability of support from the regional and republican authorities, as well as the high potential of the territory for the expansion of production. The topics of further cooperation and the implementation of joint projects aimed at strengthening the economic well-being of the region were touched upon.
In conclusion, Kamil Nazmiev outlined promising areas for investment.:
— creation of logistics hubs and agroindustrial parks;
— development of enterprises for deep processing of agricultural products and wood;
— construction of greenhouse complexes, roadside service facilities, cafes, hotels;
— development of the tourism industry and infrastructure.
