In 2024, 38 billion rubles more were invested in Kazan
Investments in the Kazan economy, according to preliminary data, will amount to 389 billion rubles, which is 38 billion rubles more than a year earlier. Such data were presented by the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at the reporting session of the Kazan City Duma on February 20. The event was attended by the head of the TIDA Taliya Minullina.
At the end of 2024, the industrial production index in Kazan amounted to 109.6%. The volume of shipped goods of own production increased by 20% - to 840 billion rubles. In the total volume of shipment, 80% falls on the products of the manufacturing industries (+ 20%). The main contribution was made by enterprises of the military-industrial complex. The volume of gross territorial product (GTP) at the end of the year is expected to be more than 1.6 trillion rubles, which is 300 billion rubles more than in 2023.
The average salary at medium and large enterprises of the city increased by 21% and exceeded 90 thousand rubles. At the same time, the unemployment rate in the city reached a historical minimum of 0.3%.
1,446 business entities took advantage of federal and republican support measures for a total of almost 19.1 billion rubles. There are 642 residents (more than 12 thousand jobs) working in six industrial parks of Kazan. The volume of products shipped by them amounted to 102 billion rubles.
Among the interesting investment projects implemented in Kazan are "Aviation Interiors" on the territory of "Khimgrad", the shopping center "ART Center" on Nikolay Ershov Street, the construction of the "FIZRA Sports Center" in the Salavat Kuper residential complex.
A new large-scale project will be the "Northern Gate" site, where it is planned to implement investment projects of SIBUR and other residents with an investment volume of 88 billion rubles. About a thousand new jobs will be created on the site.
