The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan pays a working visit to the Republic of Latvia these days, to finish on October, 6. The visit is headed by Tatarstan's President Rustam Minnikhanov. Traditionally, the head of the Republic is accompanied by Chief Executive Officer of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Ms. Taliya Minullina, business representatives and heads of Ministries and Departments.
The relations between the Republics of Tatarstan and Kazakhstan develop rapidly since signing intergovernmental agreement in 1996. It established the principles of scientific, technical, trade, economic and cultural cooperation. In the same year, Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the inauguration of the first President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev. In 1997, the return visit of the President of Tatarstan in Almaty took place. During the next years cooperation became stronger. 2003 became the Year of Kazakhstan in Russia and 2004 was the Year of Russia in Kazakhstan.
Last Sunday, on October 2, the delegation of Russian Federation made a working visit to Japan headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich to take part in Science and Technology in Society (STS forum-2016) forum, which will last until October 4. The delegation also included Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Taliya Minullina, representatives of Ministries and Departments.
From September 29 till October 2, Tatarstan will lead a round of business talks, introduce Innokam project and sign agreements on the International Investment Forum "Sochi 2016".
Initial contacts between the Republic of Tatarstan and Canada have been established in 1992 when the first President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Mintimer Shaimiev, made a working visit to the country. Shortly before that, namely on December 25, 1991, official interstate relations between Russian Federation and Canada were established.
The first round of negotiations on specially established list of projects with members of investment fund "Mubadala" (United Arab Emirates) and the Russian Private Equity Fund (RPEF) took place in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
On 22 September, the meeting with the representatives of "Mitsubishi" company took place in Tatarstan Government House. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took part in the meeting.
Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov delivered his traditional address about internal and external situation of the Republic to the deputies of the State Council
On September, 19, the representative of Italian company V.Orlandi Mr. Marco Rimondi visited the Investment Development Agency
Today, a meeting with State Secretary of Ministry of Economy of North Rhine-Westphalia Gunther Horzetzky took place at Tatarstan Government House. Tatarstan Prime Minister Mr. Ildar Khalikov and the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Ms. Taliya Minullina participated in the event.
