Today Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov met with heads of KORAY Company, one of the leading construction companies in Turkey. According to CEO and the Board member of Koray İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş Shamil Chapar, a group of companies KORAY considers the market of Tatarstan to be a highest priority area for business, after Moscow.
The Turkish company is interested in investing and projects development in the territory of Tatarstan. In the near future the company is planning to open its office in the republic.
Today Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov participated in the opening ceremony of «ROCKWOOL» plant in SEZ Alabuga.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and RF Minister of economic development Elvira Nabiullina, the Danish Minister for trade and investment Pia Olsen Duhr, and President of Rockwool Int. Elko van Heel attended a solemn opening ceremony.
Established in 1909, the Rockwool Company is a world leader in the sphere of rockwool production. The output of mineral-cotton heat-isolating materials using the basaltic rock under the trademark Rockwool started in 1937 in Denmark.
The company now has 26 plants in 17 world countries – Europe, Northern America and Asia.
Career development course on Economy, Trade Policy and Law of the World Trade Organization will be organized from April 2 to April 13, 2012 in Kazan (40 hours).
Participation in the course is free of charge for all entrepreneurs.

Today representatives of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency met with business community of Saint Petersburg. Information and Business Missions: St.-Petersburg – Regions of Russia conference brought together representatives of ministries, governmental entities, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and public associations.
Today there was an offsite meeting with Heads of the Executive Committees of Tatarstan cities and regions and entrepreneurs organized by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. The meeting was held in Sabinsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, and was devoted to the discussion of further development of industrial sites in the municipal regions of the republic. Representatives of state entities, entrepreneurship infrastructure support organizations, public associations and entrepreneurs of the republic participated in the meeting.
According to Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, industrial sites must be seen as reliable platforms to implement the projects for small and medium-size enterprises. All those entrepreneurs who are going to be perspective residents of the industrial sites of municipal level in the future should be considered as investors. Therefore it is vital to provide all the necessary conditions for their development.
Support and development of small and medium-size entrepreneurship must be a mission of Tatarstan leadership and every municipality, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a debriefing of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

To the point, the Agency was established on June 1, 2011, by restructuring the Committee for small and medium-size entrepreneurship. Besides entrepreneurship development, the agency is engaged in attraction of investments and development of state-private partnership.
International investment forum KAZANINVEST 2012: FDI&WAIPA has today opened in Kazan. Tatarstan Prime minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the opening ceremony. CEO of World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) Carlos Branzatto is also present at the event.
Forum «KAZANINVEST 2012» was organized by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency under the auspices of World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA).
Representatives of Russian regions, Agency for strategic initiatives, Vnesheconombank and other development institutes, international consulting companies take part in the event.
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency starts collecting investment projects in order to create a database on investment projects. Project creators can fill in the application form online or the attached application and send it to invest.project@tatar.ru.
Submitted projects will be included in the list of investment projects for further representations to local and foreign investors.
On February 9, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency holds a meeting devoted to the discussion of founding and creating the Virtual University for Entrepreneurs. Among the participants of the meeting there will be representatives of relevant ministries, universities and consulting organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
There will be a meeting with banks giving loans to the subjects of small and middle-size entrepreneurship of the Republic of Tatarstan on 1 February, 2012 in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
