Tatarstan is for smart investors and "smart cities"

Representatives of Tatarstan investment Development Agency took part in the forum "Japanese Smart City" in Moscow. On the sidelines of the forum, the Agency held business negotiations with a number of companies from the world of electronics and industrial enterprises.

The forum "Japanese Smart City" was organised by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan and was held in the frames of the cross-year Russia – Japan.

The participants of the working group on urban environment, as well business representatives of both countries evaluated joint work and summed up the key issues for the further work.

"We have seen that the approach of our colleagues to formation of smart cities is applicable to the territory of Russia, that is why we are ready to the next step in our work. We intend to implement several complex projects for creation of "Smart cities" using Japanese technologies with the participation of Japanese companies and experts", – Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Russian Andrey Chibis.

"Tatarstan, as we always note, is for smart investors. Our republic is among technologically developed regions of Russia. "Smart" cities technologies are being implemented in Tatarstan. Supporting efforts to create comfortable city environment, exchange of experience and opinions in open dialogue will contribute to the strengthening of relations between countries, development of "smart cities" and expansion of opportunities for business," – the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina believes.
