Is Life the best teacher?
The plenary session of the international online forum "100% Tatarstan", dedicated to the topic of education, science and the labor market, was held today at the site of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants of the meeting answered many questions, and first of all the question - "Is life the best teacher?"
The moderators of the Plenary session were the head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan Taliya Minullina and the host of the Russia 24 TV channel Stanislav Natanzon.
Among the invited speakers who took part in the discussions of the educational block were the Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, journalist and intellectual Anatoly Wasserman, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, Russian scientist in the field of neuroscience Tatyana Chernigovskaya, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexei Semenov, holder of the title “Teacher of the Year of Russia »Almaz Khamidullin, student of the University of Hong Kong Anton Shatokhin.
The speakers answered the most important questions that are now facing the education sector specialists. So, Farid Mukhametshin told the guests of the meeting and viewers of the online forum about what goals the Government of Tatarstan faces in the educational environment, what distinguishes Tatarstan from other regions on the map of Russia and how the republic turns this into its advantages.
“I want to say that Tatarstan, like many Russian regions, has a good base in the educational system in the form of schools and preschool institutions, technical schools and universities. To this are added new requirements in the context of digitalization, we are in contact with various departments, Skolkovo, we have created Innopolis, where we train highly-demanded specialists. This is a guarantee that we are looking into tomorrow, ”said Farid Mukhametshin in a conversation with media representatives.
Also, the chairman of the State Council of the republic raised the issue of the value of a teacher in modern schools, that a teacher is a person who not only gives knowledge, but also instills the correct upbringing in his students.
“We recall with nostalgia the Soviet period when teachers had great authority in society, they provided not only a good education, but also engaged in educational functions. We believe that these questions are not idle for us, we also invest efforts and resources to ensure that teachers of all levels are recognized by society at all levels "
The head of the Investment Development Agency, Taliya Minullina, also shared information about interesting directions, forms in which Tatarstan could invest and move in the context of education.
“We discussed global trends, invited a number of experts, these were Russian Federal experts who participated in various discussions. Tomorrow we will have a direct connection with the Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan, a lot of statements were received in the chat. And what's more, interestingly, the chat of our forum was used to announce vacancies, for example, someone writes: “A teacher of mathematics, computer science is required for such a school,” and so on. We have already begun to work as a communication platform for the population. And this is also very cool "
Taliya Minullina also said that although this year's forum has become an industry one, it has not lost its audience and influence.
“Of course, it is impossible to discuss all issues in the field of education during the three days of the forum. But nevertheless, in our country, the Government turned on, and the State Council turned on, and federal deputies. Because there is industry education, training of personnel for industries. The Minister of Sports spoke with us, and our Minister of Labor also gave interviews. And we said that Tatarstan today can be an example for other Russian regions and we ourselves heard feedback from colleagues from other regions. These are 42 constituent entities of Russia that are taking part. These are teachers, educators, and teachers. They also share their different methods for preschool education, for secondary education. This is a real exchange of views. Therefore, this communication platform is useful for parents as well, but to a lesser extent for the schoolchildren and students themselves, because it was there that the issues of the education system were discussed, and how to improve it competently. And for children this year, contests, prizes, drawings were organized so that they showed a little of their activity, "Taliya Minullina summed up.
At the site of the Plenary session, the interim results of the # Say_Thank you_ teacher and # Cool_about_school contests were also summed up, where participants could write down gratitude to their school, university - any teachers or talk about their school in the format of short funny videos, respectively. One of the winners was a 5th grade student of Lyceum No. 159 Malgina Milana, whose video about her school got more than 5 thousand likes. She was awarded by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.
International online forum "100% Tatarstan", in particular its plenary session, gathered more than 5 thousand viewers at the screens and was broadcast in three languages: Russian, Tatar and English. The forum itself for the past can boast of learning.
The participants from 11 countries and 42 regions of Russia, in the total number of registered participants, became more than 16 thousand people who followed the agenda of education, discussions and interviews of 120 experts on 9 stages and 3 languages.
