Turgut Aydan Holding visited Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA) headquarters today to explore investment opportunities in health care, retail, and textiles in the Republic of Tatarstan.
TIDA Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, TIDA Deputy Insaf Galiev, Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov, and Head of International Relations of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Aidar Akhtareev took part in the meeting. Representing Turgut Aydan Holding were Yashar Aydan (Member of the Board of Turgut Aydan Holding, Deputy Chairman of Memorial hospital, Chairman of Aydan Orme) and Aykhan Aydan (member of the Board of Memorial hospital).
The two men were also joined by Onur Guven, Coordinator of affiliates of Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industries. Turgut Aydan Holding’s trip to Tatarstan was prompted by an invitation from Onur Guven, whose company has a daughter company, Kastamonu Integrated RT, in the Special Economic Zone Alabuga.
«We feel at home in Tatarstan», - Onur Guven said towards the beginning of the meeting, speaking of his companies experience in the republic, - «and this feeling is largely due to the approach that we see here. We have been supported by the Government of Tatarstan since the very beginning».
During the meeting Turgut Aydan Holding were familiarized with the general investment climate of the republic and three investment sites – Kazan Smart City, Industrial Park Chistopol, and SEZ Alabuga.
«This is our first visit to Tatarstan and our impression is very positive», - said Aykhan Aydan. «We will look for different ways in which we can develop are business in Tatarstan».
