Digest on investment and construction activities of the Republic of Tatarstan

1) Investment activity of the Republic of Tatarstan for the first half of 2023

1. Investments in fixed assets increased by 16.5% and amounted to 386.4 billion rubles.

2. Investments in fixed assets per capita increased by 16.5% and amounted to 96,561 rubles.

3. Investments in fixed capital, excluding budgetary funds, increased by 10.6% and amounted to 327.5 billion rubles.

4. Investments in fixed assets excluding budgetary funds in the calculation per capita increased by 10.5% and amounted to 81,779.7 rubles.

During the reporting period, 9 municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan invested in intellectual property. Investments in intellectual property objects account for 4.2% of the total investment of municipalities of the Republic of Tajikistan in fixed capital (excluding budgetary funds) for organizations not related to small businesses.

According to the results of the first half of 2023, investors’ own funds occupy the largest share among all sources of financing (64.6%) and amounted to 166.5 billion rubles, showing an increase of 39.7% compared to the same period in 2022.

The largest share of investments in fixed assets excluding small businesses by type of economic activity is occupied by:

- manufacturing – 30.1% (an increase of 15.5%);

- transportation and storage – 25.4% (an increase of 109.3%);

- mining – 16.7% (an increase of 59.2%);

- activities in real estate transactions – 5.8% (an increase of 3.3%);

- agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming – 4.7% (an increase of 17.9%).

2) Type structure of investments in fixed capital by organizations not related to small businesses for the first half of 2023

Investments in fixed capital of the Republic of Tatarstan for enterprises with the exception of small businesses increased by 19.9% ​​and amounted to 257.7 billion rubles.

The key factors for the growth of this indicator were:

- increase in expenses for land improvement (increase by 23.1% compared to first half of 2023);

- increase in machinery and equipment (increase by 19.7% compared to the first half year 2023);

- increase in intellectual property objects (growth by 66.4% in compared to the first half of 2023).

3) Construction activity of the Republic of Tatarstan for the first half of 2023

1. The construction sector grew by 23.6% and amounted to 221.3 billion rubles.

2. The commissioning of residential buildings with a total area increased by 21.4; and amounted to 2,323.7 thousand m2, of which by individual developers - 1,265.1 thousand m2 (102.2% of the level of the same period in 2022).

3. The commissioning of general education organizations amounted to 240 student places.

4. The commissioning of preschool educational organizations amounted to 120 places.

5. The commissioning of club-type cultural institutions amounted to 45 places.
