The city of Naberezhnye Chelny of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the implementation of measures to ensure sustainable socio-economic development within the framework of the republican meeting chaired by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

This became possible thanks to the support measures promptly taken by the Governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, the accumulated economic potential, attracting investments, and active participation cities in federal and republican programs.
Since the city received the status of a priority development area, capital investments by residents have amounted to more than RUB 33 billion. (including 4.3 billion rubles in 2023). Over 9 thousand new jobs were created. (including this year - 1323 places).
Also, a resident of the priority development territory paid taxes in the amount of 16.7 billion rubles to all levels of budgets, which is almost 2 times the amount of tax benefits.
The largest resident of the Naberezhnye Chelny ASEZ continues to implement a large-scale project to create the Hayer industrial park. Currently, Haer Corporation has commissioned 5 factories and a dormitory. Capital investments amounted to almost 18 billion rubles. (RUB 17.6 billion), more than 3 thousand new high-tech jobs were created (3,253 jobs).

“The ASEZ mechanism has confirmed its effectiveness. In a series of difficult world events taking place in socio-economic life, it has become obvious that assigning the city of Naberezhnye Chelny the status of ASEZ is precisely the preventive measure that is necessary for the further stable development of our city,” Magdeev noted .
