"Investment hour" with Buinsky municipal district
The Buinsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the implementation of measures to ensure sustainable socio-economic development within the framework of the republican meeting chaired by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Such meetings are held on a weekly basis in the Government House of the Republic. The report of the city mayor examines the main indicators of the district's activity, the development of industries, the state of entrepreneurship, the level of wages and unemployment, the pace of construction of social infrastructure and housing, education, and achievements in a variety of areas.
The head of the Buinsky municipal district, Ranis Kamartdinov, said that an important marker of the economic health of the region is the volume of investment. One of the factors ensuring investment growth is improving the investment climate and business conditions. At the end of the year, their volume for projects implemented in the region was estimated to be 5 billion rubles. Their main share is aimed at the development of agriculture and processing production.
The Avangard agricultural company allocated 417 million rubles of investment to update the machine fleet, build a maternity workshop, and a building for dry cows for 150 heads. Concrete silage and haylage trenches were enlarged (4 pcs.), 3 nuclear buildings (pig complex) were built.
The modernization and reconstruction of the sugar factory continues. The volume of investments amounted to 620 million rubles (2022 – 72.35 million rubles). The work will continue this year.
The Buinsky Dairy Plant continued work on the reconstruction of the dry dairy products workshop. The volume of investments in the reporting year amounted to about 150 million rubles. (2022 – 67.8 million rubles).
Work is underway to attract investment within the framework of trips. “We present the district as a platform for the development of new industries and new opportunities. In January, we made a return visit to enterprises in China, this year we are planning long-term supplies of products (grain) produced in Tatarstan,” - the head of the district.
In December 2023, a closed meeting of residents of the AVANTI business club took place in Moscow. This event format is an excellent opportunity to meet club residents and tell about themselves.
As part of the agreement concluded with the Maiminsky district of the Altai Republic, in July we organized a trip with the district’s entrepreneurs to the Altai Republic. As a result, farmers purchased horses of the Altai breed.
As part of participation in the forum of the World Organization “United Cities and Local Authorities” in Turkish Konya, I presented the Buinsky district. “It is important for us to be part of the global community, learn best practices and share our experience!” - head of the district.
A considerable amount of investment has been made in small businesses, including individual entrepreneurs. During the reporting year, facilities were built, repaired, and equipment and machinery were purchased for a total amount of more than 850 million rubles.
The area is an open niche in the tourism sector, with a favorable investment climate. It has everything for this: architectural monuments, rich history, impressive nature. Small businesses in the area are actively developing the hospitality sector. In 2023 alone, 4 catering establishments were built and opened (Imperial - 120 places, KamEl - 60 places, Wow Tacu Tacu - 20 places, Restaurant "East Yard" - 200 places. Total catering available - 35. Total accommodation facilities (hotels) - 12)
