Wise Tatarstan: results of the National rating of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation

Today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the results of the National Rating of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were announced. The republic retained its position: second place, first in Moscow. Tatarstan was also among the leading regions in the implementation of the Regional Investment Standard.

Talia Minullina: “For a number of years, the agency has maintained a leading position in the main indicators of the National Rating of the Investment Climate in the Subjects of the Russian Federation. Investors vote for Tatarstan using rubles. Last year, the volume of investments increased by 22%, exceeding a trillion rubles. In the first quarter of this year alone, private investment grew by 37% compared to the same period in 2023.
The government of Tatarstan is creating all the conditions for investors to come to the republic, work comfortably and successfully reinvest. Therefore, foreign and Russian businesses confidently enter the region, knowing that they will receive all the necessary support at all stages!”

As part of the compilation of the national rating, the following is assessed: the provision of land plots for rent without bidding; efficiency of the public-private partnership mechanism; regional council for improving the investment climate; work of the Agency to attract investments and work with investors; availability of an Internet portal about investment activities.

The Tatarstan Investment Development Agency provides comprehensive support to investment projects through the “one window” system, implementing all the requirements of the regional investment standard. These include assistance in obtaining land plots without bidding, connecting communications, developing a business plan for the project and facilitating its successful implementation.
