"Investment Hour" with Chistopol Municipal District

The Chistopolsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the implementation of measures to ensure sustainable socio-economic development within the framework of the republican meeting chaired by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Such meetings are held on a weekly basis in the Government House of the Republic. The report of the city mayor examines the main indicators of the district's activities, the development of industries, the state of entrepreneurship, the level of wages and unemployment, the pace of construction of social infrastructure and housing, education, achievements in a variety of areas.

The head of the Chistopol municipal district, Dmitry Ivanov, reported that investments in fixed assets show significant growth; in 2023, they amounted to 8.4 billion rubles, 175% compared to 2022.

About 20 companies fulfill orders from the military-industrial complex. The main one is the Scientific and Technical Center "Vostok". The company produces radio-electronic components and products for the aircraft industry. This year, it is planned to increase production facilities by 600 square meters, create an additional 120 jobs, and 75 people were employed in the first half of the year. 12 units of equipment were purchased, the investment amounted to 70 million rubles. The city has the status of a priority development area, which has provided great prospects for the development of the district. 28 enterprises are residents. "We see the fulfillment of the set tasks in the expansion of existing projects and the attraction of new ones," - the head of the district.

The most successful company is KamLit, which produces components for submersible pumps. The funds invested by the enterprise exceed the planned indicator by 4 times, and the planned indicator for jobs has been exceeded by more than 2 times! Production has been launched in 4 workshops. KamLit increases its output volume annually.

Another 6 companies are preparing applications to receive the status of a TOR resident: a company producing soft drinks, a company producing pipes and fittings in polyurethane foam insulation, a potato processing project, a company producing metalworking equipment, creating glamping, and a company producing plastic products.

The driver for the city's industry is the Industrial Park "Chistopol". This year, a potato processing plant is planning to be located on its territory, which is preparing documents for the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The private, accredited Stakheev industrial park remains a profitable site for business. An asphalt road was built on the territory of the industrial park using funds from the infrastructure development program in 2024.

This month, on the territory of this park, the Chistopol company Tatpolimer is opening a new 1900 square meter workshop for import substitution purposes under its own brand project, Technical Machine Parts, for the production of spare parts for special equipment, up to 300 items for each model of various brands from Terex, Komatsu, Caterpillar, John Deere. Due to the rapidly growing demand for the grain loaders produced, an additional 1500 square meter facility is being built. It is planned to create 50 new jobs.

A new investor created and accredited a private industrial park "CENTER" on the territory of the former bakery. Currently, two residents are located there.

Investors invest a lot of effort and money into the development of the agricultural sector in the district. The Chistopolskaya Agrofirm has implemented a project to reclaim 2,500 hectares of arable land, with a total of 8,500 hectares planned to be irrigated. This year, it is planned to irrigate another 1,000 hectares of arable land.

The Investor has also built 5 vegetable storage facilities with vegetable sorting, washing and packaging lines with a capacity of 30,000 tons. The estimated cost of the facility is 650 million rubles. This year, 747 hectares of potatoes and 269 hectares of other vegetables have been planted.

The following enterprises contribute to the development of crop production in the district: OOO Agrofirma Chistopolskaya, Zakamye Agro, Rodnik, Chistay Agro, they have carried out work to update perennial grasses, seed material and the fleet of machines.
