Taliya Minullina: "Today, Tatarstan actively uses the PPP mechanism - public-private partnership - to implement investment projects. First of all, these are concession agreements - the tool has proven itself in the areas of public infrastructure, construction of social facilities, roads. To date, the largest project being implemented using the PPP mechanism is a concession agreement as part of the toll road "Shali (M7 highway) - Bavly (M5 highway) in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Alekseyevsk - Almetyevsk highway as part of the Shali - Bavly highway project, which will connect the M-7 and M-12 highways with the M-5 highway, will provide an opportunity for further access to Kazakhstan and China. The project was recognized as the best in the field of trunk transport in Russia in the National ROSINFRA Infrastructure Award. Also, in 2023, the Republic became the best subject of the Russian Federation in terms of the level of development of public-private partnerships in healthcare."
