A rich cultural program has been prepared for guests, participants and experts of the Second International Russian-Chinese Forum "Sprouts". The Forum will feature various events, Chinese cinema days, tea ceremonies, a tennis tournament, a hockey match, interactive performances and international expositions. There will also be excursions to UNESCO World Heritage sites, as well as excursions in the format of presentations of the industrial Russian and Chinese potential.
As part of the Forum, participants will have a sightseeing tour of Kazan, which will provide a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the most significant sights of the historical part of the city. An excursion to the picturesque island-town of Sviyazhsk is also planned.
One of the highlights of the Forum is a grand concert of young performers "Yellow Stork", which promises to be an unforgettable musical journey. Here, traditional melodies will merge with modern rhythms, creating a unique sound picture that unites two musical cultures - Russia and China. Young and talented musicians from the People's Republic of China will perform on the festival stage, playing piano, violin, cello, harp, and traditional Chinese instruments.
Another event that can already be safely called traditional will be tea ceremonies. The uniqueness of this event is that three tea drinking traditions will be presented: Russian, Tatar, and Chinese. Guests will be able to enjoy an exquisite tasting of tea prepared according to ancient Chinese traditions. In addition, all participants will be able to discuss with experts the common features of the tea culture of China and Russia, which will deepen and diversify the cultural dialogue between the two countries.
Also during the forum, there will be days of Chinese cinema. The event will be relevant not only for sophisticated connoisseurs of cinema, but also for lovers of cinema. Particular attention should be paid to the fact that all films will be broadcast in Russian, making the event accessible to a wide audience.
For the first time, the forum will host the Evening League table tennis team tournament. Athletes and government officials from China and Russia will take part in it.
The hockey match between Ak Bars and Kunlun Red Star (PRC) promises to be a real sports sensation within the forum program. The regular championship match of the Kontinental Hockey League clubs will give spectators a unique opportunity to enjoy a high level of hockey and support their favorite hockey teams.
Another event: the game of Weiqi (Go) - one of the most ancient board games with a history of more than 5,000 years. Weiqi (Go) games are held every four years. There will be several game formats: a board game on 30 tables and a floor game. The competitions will be held under the guidance of experienced coaches who will share their knowledge with all participants.
An integral part of the program will be a friendly chess tournament, which will become a platform for uniting participants in the spirit of healthy competition and mutual respect. Teams from cities from Russia and China will take part in the competition, which will create a platform for informal communication, exchange of experience and strengthening professional ties between participants from both countries.
“We are pleased to welcome the participants and guests of the Second International Russian Chinese Forum “Sprouts”. This event not only strengthens economic ties between Russia and China, but also creates a unique platform for exchanging experience and ideas. We are confident that the rich cultural program of the forum will allow us to more deeply appreciate the richness and diversity of the cultures of both countries, as well as identify common points of contact. Mutual understanding of the cultures of Russia and China is a solid foundation for building trust, and trust is the best basis for doing business,” said Taliya Ilgizovna Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan.
