Ishtiaq Ahmad Gilkar, Head of the Center for the Development of Cultural Relations between Tatarstan and India, paid a working visit to the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan today. The Director of the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center (JNCC), representative of the Indian Embassy in Moscow, Mrs. Madhur Kankana Roy, also paid a business visit to the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the meetings, the parties discussed the areas in which Tatarstan is already cooperating with India. For example, cooperation between Indian and Tatarstan enterprises, cooperation in agriculture and food, culture, education, healthcare, sports and youth policy, and tourism. Promising niches were also identified for strengthening and developing a mutually beneficial partnership. For example, industrial sphere, IT sphere, healthcare, culture, education.

For example, Tatarstan delegations participated in the international investment forum "Energetic Gujarat", the International Engineering Sourcing Show, and the International Specialized Exhibition ChemTech.

Among other things, India has been a member of the BRICS association since its founding in 2009. Experts consider her an important member of the alliance. At the moment, it is the country with the largest population in the world and the third largest economy in the world by GDP (by PPP).

India actively participates in BRICS summits and other group events, and makes an important contribution to shaping the BRICS agenda, which aims to promote economic growth, sustainable development, and international cooperation.

At the end of the meetings, Taliya Minullina invited the guests to participate in the upcoming October forum "TIME: Tatarstan - India mutual efficiency" ("Time: Tatarstan - India: mutual efficiency"), as a promising platform for the development of foreign economic activity.
